testing, testing, 123 testing...

Thomas helping Mom in the kitchen and giving me a little cheek
Bath time at Grandma's (not sure how old Reid is here but he no longer gets a red rash from his drool)
Kona Temple. Easier doing temple work in Hawaii than at home b/c you don't have to plan around any schedule.

I've just downloaded my first pics & video from phone, they are random and outdated but who cares...I did it!

Sweet apple picking a week or so ago and it really was sweet b/c they were free! Ahh, I love fresh free fruit. I only took one or two of the pictures below and Liza took the rest...she's a pro!

Now doesn't it feel Fallish? Definitely.

WE

LOVED

 VIRGINIA CITY
 ON
 LABOR DAY

We thank the Rasmussen Gang for including us on this Groupon deal...a train ride that included watching a reenactment of the Civil War, a parade that we chose to miss b/c we just wanted to sit in the shade for lunch but next year we will choose to watch it. I never knew Labor Day could be so much fun!

Amelia turned 6 & I barely caught a picture at the end of the day, she loved the whole day b/c her sisters doted on her non-stop & yes she still loves Hello Kitty (going on 4 years now, she's loyal to what she loves) Happy girl!

The next day we went camping overnight, very big deal for me to go & maybe not the wisest choice I made b/c it ended up be a freezing cold night even though it was almost a 90 degree day. At least I did get 2 hours of sleep, that was awesome. Other than that it was a perfect spot with a site right by the creek. Kids looooved it and are ready to go back and they will...with just Dad.
This picture is just beautiful...I rarely get both boys to sleep at the same time during the day!

Early morning fishing...James grilled them all for Sunday dinner & everyone had to eat it if they wanted dessert, it worked.

Kids need dirt. Maybe even a piece of licorice after breakfast too.

First day of school 2012!

Outfits layed out on the carpet with care...
25 minutes early so we could take the long walk to the bus stop

off they go, marching two by two

Our school year family mascot is an APPLE...Be Healthy, Be Smart, Be Kind. Amelia even said we should be like a stem of an apple and sit up straight during dinner.

If only every day could be as magical as the first day...everything is so prepared and kids are dying to go! Homework starts soon and routine is in full swing.

Sum Sum Summertime in St. George

The boys love all the attention that Bryn and Ashlin will give them

Bryn and Uncle Dave make a pool raft just a touch more exciting...

We got to sneak out on Saturday & drove down to Vegas to visit my brother Joe & Suzy's newest little one!
Grandma Wirth with sweet baby Hugh...look at his perfect sleeping face

here are the proud owners of new baby brother...Kate, Truman, & Grey

Connor turned 16 while we were there and he was so chatty and excited about it he could hardly contain himself...can't you tell?
Dave took five of my kids for a hike up Lava Mountain, let's just say the video footage was hilarious with all the crying and gnashing of teeth...Bryn ended up carrying most of them down while Dave recorded the whining.

Even though Bryn may have been hot and miserable she is able to fake it with a smile but not all of us have this gift...(I believe Eliza gave Olympic gymnast McKayla a pointer on how to look when disappointed)

 movies and Slurpee's...oh yah.

This statue depicts 'Come Unto Me' but Reid came up with his own phrase...'GO to him!'
just to top off our little outing I somehow locked the keys in the car so thanks to AAA we didn't have to completely melt into the concrete.
James came for the last 2 days b/c he just hates to miss out on a road trip...crazy, I know.
this is Ashlin's hamster named squeakers & you can literally french braid his hair
